I finally found out how much one can save from photocopying textbooks!

For the first time ever, I finally went to photocopy a textbook on Thursday. I photocopied my human performance textbook because 저는 돈이 없어요.

Went to RBR to borrow the textbook with Tze Wei before going to the photocopy room to photocopy. It was quite fun actually because we just xi xi ha ha and soon we're done printing even though it took about an hour or so. However, doing it alone will be damn borrow cause you're do the same thing over and over again for hundreds of pages.

IT'S REALLY CHEAP CAUSE FOR 2 PERSON IT COST US ABOUT AROUND 5 BUCKS SO 1 PERSON IS AROUND 2+++ BUCKS. One page cost 3 cents and we printed 2 pages per page. COOP sells the textbook for $52 but we only printed the pages that are required for the module though.

Benefits of photocopying
~ CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP! SAVE YOU LOTS OF MONEY!!!
~ More willing to highlight the notes -> better studying outcome?

Cons of photocopying
~ Can be boring.
~ Radiation -> cause of cancer?

I'm typing this as I'm on my way home from my grandma house becAuse I forgot my earpiece and my brother pangseh me at my grandma house. I need to type out my worries as we march into dragon year.

It all started with the channel 8 CNY year show which provided the readings of the different zodiac for the dragon year. Apparently horse luck is really bad this year (if I'm not wrong it's 2/5 stars) and apparently he mentioned that we'll have xue guang Zhi zai this year. The things that are happening seems like it's really a bad year. A bad start for the year and such predictions really give me a bad feeling for the year cause I'm like super superstitious.

What kind of bad things happen?
1) I have to take 4 modules and I didn't mention previously but I didn't go for the lecture previously and the lecturer took attendance and it's included in the participation. FML1
2) My NEW bag broke yesterday. FML2
3) I lost money ($10 or more can't remember exactly) while gambling. Though it may not seem alot it is alot to me and I usually don't lose money one! FML3
4) I left my earpiece at home today. FML4
5) Yesterday I couldn't wear the new dress I was intending to wear because it was too sheer. FML5
6) Last Saturday I realised my pencil case which is NEW broke! FML6

I really really really hope the person's prediction doesn't come true for the horses! I still hope that the year ahead will be good!

Today is the last day of the rabbit year and we're going to move into the dragon year!

Sadly, the beginning of 2012 hasn't been great so I hope as I move into the dragon year, my life will turn to be better with more happiness, laughter and smartness!!!

Chinese New Year is the time where children are happy because they get to eat lots of goodies and collect ang baos. However, this time of the year is usually a stressful period for adults cause they're the ones who have to prepare goodies, give the ang baos and do spring cleaning. My age (at least for me now) is the time where you're half-half. I get to eat lots of goodies and collect ang baos but I have to help out with spring cleaning too. Furthermore, people my age (or me) have another worry which is, WHAT TO WEAR?! Usually CNY is the time where I'll wear something different from what I usually wear or do something different like tie my hair differently -> I want to look special/different on CNY. However, as time passes, I run out of clothes/ideas. So now I worry about what to wear. One big problem is, I'm not worrying what to wear this year, I'm worrying about what to wear next year O.o. Seriously what's wrong with me, this year isn't over and I'm worry about what to wear next CNY. CNY is also the time where I feel thankful that I have the habit of keep new clothes because if I don't have time to shop, I just have to dig in my pile of clothes. This year I totally didn't buy any new clothes (not only clothes, no shoes no bags too) for CNY, not even one. Not sure why, maybe because this year CNY is too early. Wakaka, so I'm wearing what I bought from Korea.

Before I comment about CNY, I shall whine about the freaking NUS first!

It's just taking 4 modules right? What's the big deal?
There's alot of complications in between because if I knew about this min 15 modular credits thing, I would have chosen my module VERY differently.

I mean like seriously, I know there's a max modular credit of 23 credits but who knows that there's a freaking min modular credit of 15 credits. I don't know, Tze wei didn't know, Muihong didn't know and Karen also didn't know. There's one person who knew though, my brother -_-". The reason all of us know the max modular credits is because they wrote it in CORS (I think) and everytime you just try to add more than 5 modules even if you're not bidding they will remind you of the 23 modular credits thing BUT WHO THE HELL KNOWS ABOUT THE MINIMUM CREDIT THING. Can't they at least write it on CORS or something. What if I didn't bid for 4 modules and only bid for 3 since I didn't know. Are they going to kick me out of the school, stupid NUS.

The reason why I'm so upset is because
1) I don't want to take extra credit. Make me feel like the modules I took during summer school are wasted.
2) I spent a long time dilemma-ing over which module to take.
3) And the most important is, if I knew about this, I would just bidded or just keep 3 modules during bidding period and use this as an excuse to appeal for level 4000 module.

Seriously piss off by the school. What a way to end the year. Yesterday I was so upset over this that I couldn't sleep and I was lying on my bed watching bu bu jing xin. Seriously, a shitty way to end the rabbit year.

I seriously suspect I'm either working my way towards being schizophrenia or paranoia personality disorder. I hope not though but I can see myself being more and more paranoid and worried over nothing. I'm always in a dilemma too. Aha! Maybe I'm just indecisive -> bad trait!

I still haven't drop my psychology module, oh god! Actually I think I'm decided on IO already since like wtf i bought the textbook already, so to be honest, I don't know what I'm dilemma-ing over. I think it's because I need assurance!!! Give me lots of assurance and love. I think I can't believe I'm choosing something with presentation -> I can't get over this fact! Plus I think I don't really comprehend what they really teach in the respective modules so I can't decide on which is best for me.

Anyway I bought the macroecons and IO textbook from COOP today. So freaking expensive, 117.80!!! At first Karen thought it was okay but after she saw the textbook she gave a 'HUH? Like that 117 dollars ah?' I think it's because the textbook were smaller and thinner? Maybe science textbooks are ultra thick. My heart pain after buying the textbooks, cause I can spend the money on so many other stuff. Aren't textbook necessity? So aren't they suppose to be affordable. I heard from Christine Canada textbooks are alot more expensive, like 200 bucks. However, I'm in Singapore and from my mindset, it's freaking expensive. I don't know why I was so against printing textbooks. Weird mentality. Anyway I have decided from next sem onwards, if I cannot find second hand textbooks I will just photocopy cause come to think of it, photocopying has it's benefits (abit late to realise and accept it though, only one year I can do it). Photocopying allows me to highlight the textbook cause if it's new I won't even bear to highlight it. Plus usually if you buy first hand and sell second hand you will also have to minus 10-20 dollars of the original price which is equivalent to photocopying? I think it's just the photocopying process that is very tough!

Anyway went to try the new Korean restaurant at utown with Karen. THEY HAVE BANANA MILK!!! However, it comes in a different packaging so not much feel. Only tried their spicy rice cake. Cannot beat the fucking spicy rice cake I ate in Korea though.

Went to print photos so I can put them around my room. Now I need to buy photo frames so I can put up the pictures!

Wahaha, if I have time tomorrow I shall post about the bu bu jing xin show.

Ponned school today!!! There's webcast for this module though, but I haven't watched it yet. I really haven't gotten into the 'school' mood yet cause I'm obviously still slacking my time away. :(

So I started watching Heartstrings yesterday. I watched the first episode when I was at christine's house baking. I only watched till episode 5 but once again I've finished the show because I read the recap of the drama. Jung YongHwa is so charming but only at the back (thanks to recap I know). I'm kind of getting sick of Korean dramas though. In the past I can sit in front of the laptop for hours watching one drama and finished the drama in maybe 2-3 days? Then I'll start dreaming of the drama, NO JOKE! Now after 4 episodes yesterday I felt kind of sian already, so I went to read recap. Is it a sign of aging?

Yesterday I also watched bu bu jing xin on channel 8. I thought I won't like it cause it's gu zhuang but surprisingly I find it okay. Then I continued to watch the next episode today. I like the 10 ah ge. This show reminds me of huan zhu ge ge. So now I'm interested in watching this show too.

So Heartstrings and bu bu jing xin will be my companion on the bus to and from school. Not to forget, they will be my companion during CNY period too (I predict myself to be very sian cause I'm not good at entertaining others and there's no one to entertain me so usually I'm just sitting there and watching tv -I'm a shy kid)! Thanks to iPhone I can now watch dramas on the go and anywhere I am! *Reminds myself to bring charger.*

I was in a dilemma. I'm currently holding onto 2 psychology modules, PL3239 IO psychology and PL3250 Human Performance, and I deciding which one to drop as I only need one psychology module. If only I have the choice of s/u-ing psychology modules then maybe I'll be taking more psychology modules but nope, I don't have the choice. Sorry for being a module hogger, but I checked CORS to make sure that there's still leftover places for both modules, which I hope meant that I'm not depriving anyone of the modules.

At the beginning, I already decided that I'm going to take Human Performance because it has no presentation!!! Just 2 quizzes, class participation and final. On the other hand, IO has prensatation, commentary paper, tutorial participation, mid term and final. Obviously Human Performance seems more enticing, especially towards people like me.

"This module concerns the application of experimental psychology research to the improvement of human-machine/ environment interactions. This is not designed as a "cookbook" module where the principles of good human factors are merely enumerated. Rather, the emphasis will be placed on the theoretical principles underlying information processing and human performance. The topics include: signal detection and information theory; attention; spatial displays; navigation; memory and training; selection of action, manual control; time-sharing and workload; and the effects of stress on human error."

The description for Human Performance sounds interesting right?

I was so determined that I'm taking Human Performance that I even skipped the first lecture of IO but during the lecture, the lecturer was talking about what virtual reality which got me all confused, so I changed my mind and decided to take IO. OMG, now i read the description I feel that it really sound quite cool but come to think of it, I think this will require alot of memory work as opposed to IO.

The reason why I'm against choosing IO is really just because it has presentation.

"This module is intended to expose students to applications of the facts and principles of scientific psychology to industrial and organisational settings. Topics include the structure and function of organisations; selection and training; management of efficiency (motivation, working conditions, and coping attitudes); and group processes in organisations. Lectures build the knowledge base of the students; case discussions encourage applications of their knowledge."

IO sounds useful esepcially in the workplace in future. The lecturer is nice too cause he's my lab teacher last sem.

I'm in a total dilemma. At first I've decided Human Performance then I change my mind and now I'm undecided between both. I'm suppose to make myself more clear and sure about my decision but the more I think about it the more I can't decide. I don't have a preference over the modules because they both aren't in my area of interest. I'm more interested in working with children and clinical. Human Performance sounds like it will teach me how to improve cognitive skills like attention and such while IO sounds like it will help me understand the working environment better in future.

I appealed for a level 4000 psychology module and FAILED! So there's nothing more I can do about it, I've tried bidding and appealing, so I guess it's 3 modules for me this semester. I'm so going to score 3 As! Innova always told me to aim for the stars and even if I don't get the stars I'll land on the moon!

I'm still very worried and dilemma over honours year because I've asked some people but none of them and doing honours in psychology :(. Can't imagine going into a class filled with intimadating strangers alone :(. They're intimadting because they're all the cream of the crop while I'm like the shit of the crop. There's nothing I can do about that though since it's still a few months away. The problem is I met Jolee while going to school and Thursday and she said FASS can start filing for graduation already. You can withdraw after you file for graduation or you can not file for graduation and if you change your mind about honours you can file your graduation after getting results but you have to go to NUS to do it. Then she told me she just filed for graduation and she told me I should file first because withdrawing no need go back school but file for honours after results need to go back school. However, I guess I'll just stick with not filing for graduation because I'm still leaning more towards the honours programme. One more reason that makes me fear the honours programme, is of course all the horror stories that level 4000 modules are tough and usually pull down the cap.

First week of school has been slack. Everyday I just go to school for 2 hours excluding monday, the amount of time I stay in school is really short than the amount of time I spent travelling to school.

Today I saw Samantha's to-do list which gave me an idea! Instead of just having 12 resolutions (which i mentioned previously was not enough), I have decided I should come up with resolutions for the month (or to-do list for the month). There's always some things that important for a particular time period which may not be in my resolutions. One year is really such a long period and it's kind of hard to put everything you want to achieve in the year with 12 resolutions. Having a monthly one will not only help to clear off what you 'extra' things you have to do for the month and also help you work towards the 12 resolutions for 2012! Sounds like a good idea? :)

Why must life be filled with 101 worries? Why can't life be worry-free?

So I tried my luck today and tried bidding for a level 4000 module.
However, luck wasn't on my side.

Maybe god doesn't want me to do level 4000 modules this semester. Maybe he wants me to focus on my 3 modules so I can get all A for them! Possible? LOL! Doesn't sound possible :(

I'm not really that upset over not getting the module because I won't want to pay 1928 points for some history and systems of psychology. I do have 1928 points or more, but I'm not crazy enough to throw all my points into this module because 1) I don't think it's worth it and 2) If I go on to take honours, I think I'll points too right? Furthermore, I don't think this module sounds interesting at all and other blog reviews stated that it's partly philosophy. I still bidded for it because I'm kind of desperate.
So if this module sounds like shit to me, why am I still desperate for it? 1) I'm taking only 3 modules this semester so I feel that it's like a waste school fees. Furthermore, taking only 3 modules this semester, I'm worried that I would not be able to cope with 4 modules (and they're level 4000 modules!!!) next semester. 2) I want to experience 1 level 4000 module and see what's the probability of me dying when I take 4. 3) I like the teacher who is taking this module. He doesn't believe in presentations/class participation because he believe some students are just naturally shy = no presentation/class participation.

Why am I already worrying about next semester when I have not even went through this semester. It's only my first day today! So filled with worries! :(

I think I should update my blog with better English, basically better grammar. So I shall try to stop using I in small letter or using ...

I also want to update my 2012 resolutions because I've thought of several resolutions I want to add to the list. However, 12 for 2012 sounds nice, so maybe I should just edit it to fit everything into 12 resolutions!

Today in preparation for school tomorrw, I was choosing a pencil case (I bought 4 pencil cases while I was in Korea-yes I'm crazy) and guess what? Out of the 3 artbox pencil cases, 2 of them are too small to put much stuff in them. After a few pens and pencils and they're full, cannot put in my correction tape! Seems like I spent money on 'not very useful' things again. What was I thinking or what was I not thinking when I bought those pencil cases. Come to think of it, we don't really need pencil cases when after graduating from school because you don't really need to bring pencil case to work, unless you're a teacher. Usually just put a pencil holder and put a few pens in there or just throw them in the drawer or on the table since people all use computers/laptops.

Can I survive the new semester? I hope I can!

I was browsing through IVLE and looking at the class rooster...and I got a shock when I clicked on Human Performance class rooster...there are only 30 students taking human performance O.O First time I actually see a level 3000 psychology ( or actually any other modules) that only have 30 students...or maybe there were but i didn't notice...but 30 students ?!?!

School officially reopens next week... one word- SIAN...

My timetable is slack...i don't deny this (afterall i paid so much to go for summer school in korea)...but yet at the same time it's kind of stupid...cause I have a 4 days week for 3 modules...I didn't bid for level4000 modules because those that I'm interested in didn't release slots and those I'm abit interested in released very few slots so the bidding points were very high like 1515 (Developmental processes) or else the name just sucks like cognition or cognitive neuroscience...so my timetable for now on tuesday and friday is going to school for 2 hours O.O which is shorter than my travelling time...and it's at 4-6...at least if it's earlier I still have time to do other stuff...but 4-6 is such a weird timing to go to school when everyone is actually going home..and i realised something about level4000 psy modules...alot of their modules are at ridiculous timings like 4-7, 6-9, 8-11...not saying that there arent any normal timings...

Okay time for happy thoughts...

I realised nowadays i fill my blog with how i feel without pictures...instead of what i have been doing...cause filling the blog with just words is much easier than having to add in pictures...

The food there is not bad though...although it'll be alot cheaper to eat in Korea...because I remember when I'm in Korea when we go for BBQ meat usually we'll order 2 servings too but I think the portion is much bigger as it's usually shared among 4 people so the bill usually comes up to around 10000-15000 won per person...

It was a great day out!!! Haha and I was late for Korean lesson that day...

Since I'm free now...I shall come out with my 12 resolutions for year 2012!!!
I think I can just copy and paste from year 2011 and I hope at the end of the year I can give it a pass instead of a fail!

1) Study ~~hard~~ ... ~~harder~~ ...hardest...and pull up my cap...
me...very important if I decides to study honours after 2011/2012 sem 2
2) Lose 12kg ( I've decided to be more realistic...instead of 15 i changed it to 12!!!)
3) Stop spending money like no tomorrow...SAVE MONEY...and keep track of my spendings
4) Be more confident....learn to speak up in class and get over my freaking phobia towards presentations
5) Get over korean idols...mainly super junior...and please don't find another one idol to go nuts over
6) Be nicer and kinder...in actions and thinking
7) Go overseas... can i be greedy and say I want to experience snow... (What happened to me...I used to not crave going overseas...or I may not even like going overseas in the past...)
8) Keep my room neat
9) Save money to buy a laptop
10) Register for TOPIK in October and pass it...
11) Drink alot of water everyday (I mean plain water...this may seems easy but I can go without drinking plain water for one whole day and usually I just drink 1-2 cups of water a day)
12) Be satisfied and happy! :D

Haix I'm in a dilemma over what modules to take...should I take at level4000 module to try out first...but the problem is...the leftover4000 modules are all shit modules...all the fun ones are all take by those in year 4 :(

All the modules in blue have no vacancies left...at first I was thinking of taking either advanced abnormal psychology or criminal forensic psychology...but fml they all have no vacancies...

Now I'm kind of in doubt if I actually want to do honours...actually in my heart I do want to do honours but...I checked and ALL level4000 modules have presentation!!! No longer presenting in tutorials but presenting in seminars...which means there will be more people than in tutorials...I know I'll have to overcome my fear of presentations one day...who knows if I may need them when I go out to the working world (I hope not)...I seriously wonder if something happened to me when I was young which resulted in me having a extreme phobia of presentations and strangers too! Cause the problem with me is I not just hate presentation...but I really cannot do presentation...my voice will tremble...my hands will tremble...everyone can see that I'm scared (even when I think maybe for a certain presentation I felt that I did better than usual)... Furthermore, another big problem is that my cap is in such a vulnerable position...

Yeah my laptop is really spoilt beyond repair...my brother asked me not repair it cause it's an old laptop already...so i was laptopless for many days...and today my brother lent me a laptop...and it's his gf's laptop!!! OMG...which means now i owe his girlfriend a living...haha i wonder if she even knows my brother lent her laptop to me...and now i must take extra careful of this laptop...if i spoil it...I'm dead meat and you'll never get to see me again...NEVER! I wonder if my brother can lend me the laptop forever!!! It comes with a price though... I have been washing bowls for him for the past 2 days...make it past 3 dinners actually!!! I didn't even eat dinner today and I had to wash the bowls for him :x ...yeah but it's a small price to pay to have a laptop again!!!

So I've decided one of my 2012 resolution
SAVE MONEY AND BUY A LAPTOP!!! (this is different from pure saving money though...pure saving money means money goes into the bank!!!)

Didn't do my Korean homework for tomorrow...but heck i can't be bothered...I didn't do it last week either because I didn't go for lesson last last week...damn slack me...anyway the teacher said there will be topik test in april and october...i don't know if should take anot...cause i think my korean is like shit!

This is my 501th post...and it's 2012!!!

Happy New Year!!!

I'm typing this post on my iPhone cause I think my laptop is still cui...my brother said he'll take a look but I don't think he took a look yet...and I can't rush him or else I'll get killed...

Just came back from countdown at pingxuan's church...sad to say it wasn't as exciting as I expected...I expect too much...but I guess it's a good thing to have a friend beside you during the start of the new year!!! The thing is...I got daoed by the psychology tutor...lee li neng...cause halfway through I saw him and I was so hyped up...cause it was such a coincidence...and as the end of the countdown I walked past him and I smiled he smiled...so trying to act enthusiastic...I waved...but he ignored me!!! Rahh...maybe he didn't see me wave...but omg...daoed on the first day of 2012...fml x 1000...roar....

I hope 2012 will be a great year!!!

I will post up my new 2012 resolutions before the end of CNY...haha this year must achieve more of them...

I haven't been blogging for the past few days...not because I'm lazy (although I admit I am) but because my laptop is spoilt! The screen flashes every few seconds and while it flashes the laptop will hang there...so I'm typing this post at the risk of spoiling my eyes...!!!

Holidays are coming to an end...and I feel like I have wasted my whole holiday away just like that...wasted 6 weeks of my life...I still can't blog about my 3 days tour in Singapore cause I'm still waiting for huiting to upload the photos...haha although I brought my camera but not much useful photos...cause when someone has a dslr..the job of taking photos goes to that person...

So let's review on my resolutions for 2011 since 2011 is coming to an end in just a few days

1) Study ~~hard~~...~~harder~~...hardest...and pull up my cap... FAIL (more about my results next time...I always say next time...butsometimes the next time just don't come)
2) Lose 15kg TOTAL FAIL
3) Stop spending money like no tomorrow...SAVE MONEY...and keep track of my spendings FAIL
4) Be less dependent (DID I?)
5) Be less introvert...learn to speak up or least don't tremble when speaking in tutorials FAIL

I haven't been blogging for the past 3 days or so...spoiling my blogging at least once in 2 days because Eunsik and Anthony are here...and I have been spending most of my last 3 days with them...only reaching home after 12 everyday...

Eunsik and Anthony left Singapore this morning...

The past few days...level of action in my life went from down to up to down...before my came my life was damn boring...but when they came...my life was super hectic...and now they're gone...my life dropped back to being super boring again...it's bad to have such huge shifts in life...because it makes me bipolar...

My growing wisdom tooth...on the bottom right...MEGA HURTS...it hurts so much much much more than the one that grew on top a few months ago...FML...ouch

Anyway SMRT caused a big hype among Singaporeans due to their frequent breakdowns this week...like not one...not two...but 3 times in one week?!?! Not even one week...4 days...like seriously wtf are they doing...or seriously wtf are they not doing...and the way they handled the situation is really...if this isn't a mrt breakdown but a terrorist attack...confirm gone case already...and I was watching the news on saturday about the mrt breakdown...and I can't believe they only had 1 english-speaking person who directs and provide information to the people...like seriously 1 person to direct like thousands of people?!

Seriously I don't think refunding the fare only is enough eh...they should do more to compensate their commuters...cause i think the mrt breakdown will seriously spoil someone's day...

Oh yeah and today...the mrt was supposed to start at 10am instead of 530 to do checks...and i seriously think if you already delayed something and set a time before it...you shouldn't end up delaying it again...and ended up the all the mrt stations were only up and running at around noon??? BAD...the increase in mrt fare did not come hand in hand with increase in service...

Met Samantha for lunch today at the foodcourt near buangkok mrt...and guess what...i had the most disgustingly tasting aglio olio...the spaghetti there is really CMI!!! Samantha's creamy pasta was...okay...not too bad...but bad...i wonder how they actually survived there with such lousy tasting food O.O Bought christmas cards too...I have to finish writing and send them out soon...or else it'll really be too late

While i was about to go home...found a SAM machine at Serangoon MRT and bought stamps...i didn't know whether to buy 1st local (less than 20g) or 2nd local (less than 40 more than 20g)...cause i have no idea how heavy is the cards...but i ended up buying the 1st local ...caused zhihui said it's first local...and how heavy can christmas cards be right...it's so super fun buying stamps from the SAM machine...it's so fun and addictive...and since it's like so easy to buy stamps...it makes posting very tempting...but the problem is...haiyo how to weigh the things we want to post...

I have been reading up about wisdom tooth...so wisdom tooth pain can be caused by a lack of space in the jaw which cause abnormal eruption which causes traps bacteria and cause infection blah blah/ traps food and cause decay/ pressure and it can cause cyst formation?!?! Haha but the funny thing is wisdom teeth cause us so much pain because apparently our ancestors have larger jaws so they can accommodate the wisdom teeth easily...and like wtf...if we evolved to have smaller jaws...then can the wisdom teeth kindly evolved away too...haha but i think we're moving toward that direction

Today met Karen at Sembawang Shopping Centre for the Teo Heng there...omg...SSC is such a deserted place...my god...why will anyone want to build a shopping centre as such a wu lu pan dan? place...but they do have good shops there...like daiso...teo heng...gong cha...espirit outlet...

Suppose to meet Karen at 12...but i was super late...죄송합니다...
Getting to SSC is complicated...but they have shuttle buses from yishun, sembawang and aljiunied...but the wait for the shuttle bus is quite long...or take 858 from yishun...i took 858 cause i didn't want to wait for shuttle bus...

Ate fishball noodles for lunch...the fishball noodles gave enough noodles to feed a rat...then it's singing time...

I started watching Scent of A Woman today...and i finished it already!!! Haha...I'm half-way through the video actually...at episode 8 now (haven't watch yet)...haha but i'm not bluffing when i said i finished already...cause i read finished the recap of the show...reading the recap is so much faster...cause I can't find the episodes on youtube and the other websites load sooooo damn freaking slow...and some website I cannot watched cause it has been banned in my region :(

The show is about a girl who's diagnosed with cancer (and the girl is the same person who acted in My lovely samsoon? but she looks so different now) and she fell in love with her ex-boss...and of course there's the 2nd male lead and 2nd female lead...awwwww...i LOVE the second male lead...which is her doctor...omg...i love him...의사를 사랑해요!!! he's so freaking cute..like omg...the typical 嘴硬心软 kind....although sometimes the 嘴 is so 硬...until you feel like bashing him...

Although this show revolves around cancer...so of course...there's the sad scenes that make you cry (but i haven't watch the parts that made me cry...only when i read the recap...)...but surprisingly...the show has many funny parts too...i thought this show will be super cui lei kind...like one litre of tears...but it's not...there's lots of funny scenes in the show...but i think towards the back it'll get sad...because i read the recap...very sad :'( In the recap...there's this part where one of the Doctor's patient died...it's seriously hard on doctors when they cannot cure their patients isn't it...since their job is to cure the patient but when they can't do it...it's so disheartening... especially in the case of cancer doctors (what do you call them?) since cancer is a chronic illness and overtime...there's sure to be bonding with the patient but if the patient die at the end of the day...it will be a torture for them too i guess...

Today at pasir mrt...we met my cousin's friend while topping up my ezlink card...and guess what her darling friend of her said...he asked if i'm her mother?!?! When i heard...my face went instant black...faster than the photo come out from polaroid...and i got super pissed off...he should go eat shit and die...this is not the first time people thinks i'm old/not a student...but seriously...mother is too much #$%^&^ i mean like those people who ask you to get credit card or savings plan or whatever nonsense they're promoting...at least what they are implying is that they think you are working...and there are people my age working...no? or maybe they think i am older but still in the twenties...but seriously lah...wtf...if i look like my cousin's mother...you're implying that i look like what??? 40 years old...and that's if it's an early birth...like 24...or what you're trying to imply i'm 50 years old...go eat dung and die...irritating piece of cow dung...and if you think it's funny...go eat shit and die too!

Like I always say things like "I won't like ______ cause i don't see the point"... but I often end up eating my own words...

When sorry sorry first came out...I said "huh why everybody like them...what's the big deal"...and when super junior m went on 100% entertainment...i ended up liking them...all the way until now...i still like them...*diu lian* how old already still act like a fan girl...

Last time i was so easily satisfied...every small thing can make me happy...just give me ice-cream...and i'll be happy...now i'm happy...but maybe not as happy...like last time if you give me $10 i'll be like...wow so much money...but now $10 is not even enough for me to eat ajisen...
Last time I don't crave for things...maybe i do...just that i can turn a blind eye and ignore those cravings...but now i crave for more...when i see people having it...i want it too...and i start craving...i want this i want that...

There's only one thing that i don't really crave for though...that's branded goods...i use the word don't really because i think i do crave for them...just that i know that if i have them...2 things will happen to them (at least for now that is what will happen)...1) i wont use them...cause they're so expensive 2) i use them and they become cui shit very soon after...

It's funny how the more i think something is nice...the more i don't want to use it...because once i use it there'll be no more...but if i think about it...if i don't use it...they will go to waste...haix such dilemma...

Karen's sister is really very funny...it's really nice to have a sister like that...someone whom you can play...laugh...cry with...haix not like my brother...my relationship with my brother is just weird...it's not that the relationship is bad...it's just we're not close...

My cousin came to my house today to pack my room...but it's not done yet...so more before and after photos when i feel like uploading photos to my computer...

Before that went to rivervale mall to buy stuff from daiso...then went to compasspoint for ajisen...the ramen was SALTY...super salty...and we added the volcano chilli...my cousin say why must they charge 2 bucks for volcano chilli...and she say it's da qiang...which i totally agree...don't know why...

I feel bad for not looking for a job now...because my father was like asking me "you're not going to work ah"...but i'm really lazy...and i only have one month of holiday...okay...6 weeks...but jobs are hard to find...and how often do you actually get such a long holiday?! If you actually think about it..because i'm soooooooo old...there's not much chance for me to enjoy such a long holiday anymore :( cause if you think of it...if i take honours...i would only have this holiday...the may-aug holiday...and the last holiday next nov...or if exam timetable sucks then early dec...and if i don't...which i hope doesn't happen...this will actually be the last holiday...so either way...there's actually not much holiday left...and if i continue with honours...and 3 months holiday...confirm cannot just stick my butt around at home...confirm have to go out and work/do intern...so yeah...there's really not much holiday left...okay...i'm just full of excuses...i'm actually just lazy...so i'm actually like a mi chong now...

How those people with anorexic actually manage to starve themselves...i tried starving last thursday when i had 2 papers...not because i'm on diet (although i really want to be on one)...but because i'm too lazy to go eat lunch alone...and i don't really like to eat lunch alone outside...
The feeling of starving is really not good...cause by about 1 plus going 2...i had the puking sensation...i always feel like puking when i'm overly hungry...and the weird thing is...after my hunger reaches a certain extend...i can't eat anymore..cause i bought the famous amos small pack cookies to eat...but i couldn't even finish that one small packet...cause i keep fan wei-ing...
I feel bad for letting my body feel so bad...and the weird thing is...my appetite became small ever since...friday's dinner i had a hard time finishing my rice...and saturday cause i had paper at 1..so i starved again...and my stomach was grumbling throughout the paper...haha but the girl on my right...her stomach was also grumbling...then when i went to my grandma house for dinner...my appetite also became smaller...and till now...my appetite is still small...okay maybe not small...just smaller than usual...haha but to be honest i dont mind the smaller appetite...makes me feel good..haix but i don't think it will last...i think it's just a passing stage...

I really hate myself for not blogging frequently...because one day when i'm old and i need to xiang dang nian...without my blog and with my lousy memory...i got nothing to xiang about :( I should make a resolution to blog regularly...and yes i will soon...because the holidays are coming...

Nope my exams are not over yet...i just had pediatric psychology test...and i'm now stoning in YIH waiting for my microecons test at 2.30pm...ahhh...i shouldn't be stoning and neither should i be blogging...i should be studying for micro later...i hate having exams...because i will start being paranoid over my answers at the end of the paper :( and i will end up thinking and thinking until i can't focus on anything...rahh...and the worse thing is if i think all the way till i get my results...THAT'S BAD...and what if i continue thinking until after i get my results cause we don't end up getting back our paper or the answers...RAHH...paranoia disorder...that's why sometimes i just hate myself for being so...IDIOTIC...hopefully these repetitive thoughts don't last...and often they don't until they meet a cue that makes me think of it again...

Good news is...tomorrow is my last paper! The thing is...i'm really worried...

I have been back from Korea for a few days already...things are really slow and boring here in Singapore...Life in Korea has really been a great experience and the last 2 days in Korea were really emotionally draining...who would have expect to form such great bonds in the 6 weeks we spent there...
Before i actually backtrack about my korea life...if i actually do that...facebook is pulling me away from blogging...now i know why people stop blogging...
Let me talk about our departure...
When we were leaving...
I had 1 luggage...2 (1 super huge) carry-on bags...1 laptop bag...and my hand-carry bag...and when we were weighing our luggage at the airport...eunice exceeded...3 kgs...i exceeded...4 kgs...muihong exceeded 5kgs...so we went to look for the freaking post office...we went down...we couldn't find it...so we went up again...then one of the Korean air person brought us down and showed us the way...guess what freaking happened when we were outside the post office...THE POST OFFICE WAS FREAKING CLOSE...can you imagine pulling a freaking 28,9 kg luggage up and down and up and down...why is the freaking post office closed...so we went down to look for this delivery thing...but we couldn't find it (we found it later but it's only for domestic delivery anyway) and we sat down on the floor in seoul airport...to freaking hell repack our stuff...so i started throwing things away at the airport...threw away my worksheets + some liquid bottles + my jeans + my freaking bag (which i only used for about 3 weeks in korea)...and finally our luggage were below 25kg...but i was carrying one fucking heavy bagpack...holding onto 2 fucking heavy plastic bags...and holding one huge and heavy carry-on bag...cause we were only allowed one carry-on bag + one handbag...so we were kind of 'faking' with the plastic bags...and because of all these shit we missed saying goodbye to kabau...like seriously wtf...they should just give us more baggage allowance since we're like seriously boasting their economy...i went there with like less than 20kg worth of things and i came back with more than double the weight...and my hands were so painful on the plane...not to mention the next day when i woke up...

Deadly flood waters

The flood is indeed a disaster.

Seoul has been hit by the fiercest rain storms Korea had experienced in a century.

These storms triggered both flash floods and deadly landslides.

According to Korean meteorologists, over 300 millimetres of rain fell on Seoul on Wednesday alone and the deluge is expected to continue till Friday at least.

Hundreds of homes and even some subway stations have been flooded.

Photos from Korean netizens show highways turning into canals, with the roofs of the cars upon them barely visible, like little islands amidst the brown flood waters.

Korean news reports say at least 48 people have died due to the flooding and landslides brought about by the relentless rain.

Caught harry potter movie yesterday...it's the first day it opened in singapore and 2nd day it opened in korea...first time i'm actually so up-to-date when watching movies...HARRY POTTER IS NICE...very exciting and funny too...the kissing scenes in the movie were random though...and harry potter's son is so handsome and cute...and the people acting in harry potter are so handsome and pretty...at least most of them are...i wouldn't mind watching it again...it's really nice...and in a blink of eye...this series has come to an end...and i read from karen's blog it has been like 10 years already...so it's like we've been growing up with them...

Went to the pub for the first time after that...i didn't drink though...drinking is bad for health...and only reached back at dorm at around 3am...latest i have ever stayed out in Korea...i think in Singapore too...cause i don't remember reaching home only at 3am in the morning...

Went to watch NANTA ~~today~~ yesterday...it's funny...not bad...though some parts here and there were kind of boring...haha but must sit in front in front...then you can interact more...cause they'll throw potato...garbage and balls at the audience...plus when they ask the you to participate in clapping and cheering...i think when you're more in front and can see them more clearly...you will be more enthusiastic to join in the fun...i was sitting quite in front...though not really very in front...was at row F and at the middle...was able to see the whole show clearly...not sure if can see as clearly when the go further back...

And guess what i saw before the start of the show...ryeowook's musical advertisement!!! He's so freaking handsome...haix...damn shit...why can't he start performing in july...but i read that his musical tickets are sold out already...

Everyday before i go back to the dorm...i will tell myself that i need to blog...but everyday...i open my blogger but end up...nothing appear on my blog...damn sad...but today somebody threatened me that if i don't blog she's not going to update her blog...and if she don't update her blog...i'll have no entertainment...so i'm here to blog...

Yesterday i decided to skip dinner and dabao food back for dinner...and i managed to walk to my dorm from the school myself...tadaa...my first time after like 2 weeks...i decided to walk back myself because i wanted to test my sense of direction...and apparently it's pretty good...haha...it's because i was feeling tired and sick (i think i'll end up spending half of my time in korea partially sick)...so i wanted to hurry up bath and allow my hair to dry quickly and read my readings so i can actually sleep early...but ended up my plan failed...cause i ended up watching hana kimi cum doing my readings...so i ended up spending like 6 hours to read a 10 (x2) page readings...and i ended up going to bed only at 1 plus...

Game theory test on thursday...suppose to have korean test on thursday too but it got postpone to next monday...

Damn...it's like 12.13am now...i just finished washing my clothes...and my clothes got stained...and the worse thing is...my new shirt that i threw in to wash...shrank...and only half of it shrank...so the shirt looks damn ridiculous now...like wtf...waste my money :(

Rahh...that time when i saw ryeowook was going to act in musical while i'm in korea...i'm so excited that i search for hours all over the internet for the ticketing thing while neglecting my readings...but i still couldn't find it...then today i read like wtf...he's only going to start his first show on August 10...but the musical start running on July 14...where got such things one...i feel that i got cheated...damn...

I have my first test on thursday...and i haven't even finish my readings for today (haha i'm lagging) and tomorrow yet...damn...how is it possible to even have time to study?

I want to update my blog on korea...but i feel so lazy...and it's so hard to upload photos onto blogger...and i freaking hell end school at 630pm and start school at 9am...this is even worse than in NUS...

I finally have time to blog...have been so busy...going to school -_-" for the past few days...

So let me recap what happen...

Monday went for orientation...

Part one of the orientation ended quite early...like around 11.30am...cause just talks only...and we had break till 2.30pm for the 2nd part of the orientation...

Randomly saw boon leong (the person we met at the briefing) and randomly went to lunch with his group of friends...

Went to a meat bbq shop? for lunch

They have this suction thing to suck up all the smoke...Singapore should really import something like this...

After that we went for dessert...

This is expensive...can you imagine this is large...doesn't look large at all...their picture showed a damn huge waffle with 4 scoops of ice-cream on top...but we only got 2 scoops...and this isn't cheap...it cost like 9900 won...but it was shared among 4 people...so still considered cheap...if you count it that way...

Second part of the orientation was suppose to be cheer leading performance and campus tour!!!
Haha but it's actually they were teaching us the KU cheers...i like...and i think almost everyone was participating in the cheers...and it was damn fun...cause got jumping steps and I love jumping steps...not the mention...there's one super handsome cute guy among them...Damn shit...i can't upload the video of the cheerleaders cause the file is too big...

After that we left for our campus tour...

It's nice looking...but i hate it...cause there's too many slopes in there...

Went for dinner at some chicken shop with some of the other students and korean buddies...they really have many different kinds of chicken...

After chicken...i thought we would go back to hotel...but ended up the group wanted to go karaoke or pub...i think alot of time wanted to go to pub to drink more...wtf...but our group wanted to go karaoke...but i think we wanted more of to go back to dorm and sleep after so much beer...haha but nobody said that...so...

I can only say it's freaking cheap...cause it's only 3000won including drinks...

Their timing is also never ending...cause even though they give a standard time...but they will give you service (extra time)...so end up is like...omg 3 more mins can go home...and suddenly it 18 more mins...and they'll just keep giving and it just never seems to end...we left before we used up all their service...or else i think i'll just ko inside...

So monday was like the most exciting day since i've arrived until now...haha i shall continue about the rest of my up-till-now boring korea journey next time!

I have reached Korea...

Everytime i go on ~~holiday~~ overseas i forgot something...i don't like to take plane...i seriously hate taking plane...it makes me feel like i'm going to puke...especially when the plane go through a turbulence...plus all the muscle aches and ear blocks that come with flying on a plane...so i shall minimize going overseas from now on...cause i really don't like to take plane...and i hardly got to sleep on the plane...wrong...i didn't even get to sleep on the plane even though i tried...watched no strings attached on the plane and it was freaking boring...like seriously boring from front to the end...no peak and no excitement...haha i don't know why i even finished watching it...cause it'll be so wasted if i didn't finish watching the whole movie...but the air stewardess on korean airline were nice...they were very smiley...

Reaching korea soon!

When we reached korea...went to buy the sim card for our phones...but apparently the person say our phones cannot use their sim cards...haha so the next best choice now is the public telephones...10 000 won for 2 hours...but sim card is freaking expensive 59 000 won (sale price, actual price 78 000 won) and it can call for 2 hours too...ohh and I got the seoul summer sale card already...haha looking at super junior makes me happy...

Being in another country where people doesn't speak your language...it's freaking scary...especially when you do things like take the cab...and i think we made the taxi driver really pengx...cause we can't understand him and he can't find our dorm...and some of the people in Korea are very scary...they're very fierce and unfriendly...like the immigration person and the person who kept the trolley for the luggage...but some people are very nice and helpful though...like the 7-11...bookstore and limousine bus driver...and there's one incident which i don't know is good or bad actually...cause when we were going out for lunch...this random lady came up and ask us "are we from china..." then she started talking to us and she's korean but she said she cares alot about china people and her chinese is very good also...haix...but of all things we get mistaken as china people...damn sad...but she even gave us her number and ask us to ask her out for meetup or if we have problem...so some people there are really super friendly...

Ate hotpot for lunch...YUMMY...6500 won...and there's no such thing as 10% service charge and 7 % GST...

I hate my room...it's the double deck one...we're hoping to get the single bed for each person but no such luck...and the room is so small leh...if i'm cope up in this room for 24 hours i think i'll just go crazy...and for the amount paid for this room...can rent one whole apartment in Singapore for a month if you add abit more...and there's one big problem...the dorm is on top of a freaking mountain...and i have to climb the mountain every time i'm going out...i swear it's a freaking mountain...going downhill is scary cause it's quite steep...going uphill is torturing cause it's taking up my life...oh and there's no pillow even though they say they'll provide pillow :( how to sleep without a pillow...

At night we went out to meet my buddy at some cafe...because my buddy will be away for one week...bought spicy rice cake before that...even when...the meeting with the korean buddy and the group thing was...awkward...like nobody knows what to say...everybody staring at everybody...

I realized midnight flight is a very complicated thing...because i'm technically flying off on 26/6 00.55 which is sunday 00.55...when i say i'm flying off on sunday...some people will think i'm flying off sunday night/monday midnight...so i changed to saying i'm flying off on saturday...but some people will think i'm flying off on saturday midnight so reaching airport on friday...is complicated...time is such a complicated thing...but human relationship is even more complicated...

I'm still packing my luggage...but it looks much fuller as compared to yesterday...

Monday went down to promenade then to raffles place for the korean tourism board...they have alot of brochures there...and i took alot of brochures which i think will end up as rubbish eventually...but they don't have the seoul summer sale visitor's savings card...then i went to rebond & cut my hair...rebonding is addictive...but i think this will be the last time i'll cut bangs...cause i really think everytime when i just cut bangs i look very weird...like bowl hair...why is it so difficult to change hairstyle...is like the only way to change hairstyle is to chop off the hair...i did think of cutting my hair to the length i cut after a-levels but taking into consideration of my brother's wedding next year's july...i decided against it...

Tuesday I went to see the doctor for my cough and mainly to get asthma medicine for standby when i go to korea...i wanted to wake up earlier to go the polyclinic...but when i woke up it was around 10 plus 11...then i checked polyclinic website which stated that their last registration was at 12pm...so i rushed down to the polyclinic and reached at around 11.45...and when i walked in...fuck the registration closed already...the polyclinic cheat my feelings...so i went to the clinic where i always go to to get mc for PE...luckily it was still opened and only closed at 12.30pm...the doctor is very funny...cause when i said i'm going to korea for summer school...she said "ni qu kan shuai ge ah" then after that she say something like actually she don't think that koreans are handsome...just those that underwent plastic surgery then they're handsome...and she gave me antibiotics for my cough...and then she flip my history and say i don't really take antibiotics then i say ya i don't take antibiotics...then she say "but you better take now...if not later you end up in the hospital in korea with pneumonia"...so i have been dutifully taking my antibiotics...but i'm still coughing my lungs out now...

After seeing the doctor...went down to causeway point to meet Karen...and we went to partyworld at i-dunno-where...the tidbits they provide is yummy...i like...they have prawn crackers and the other one i don't know is what...but it's really nice...and they gave it in 2 separate bowls...kbox only give 1 bowl everything mix together...after 4 hours at partyworld...went to causeway point for dinner...causeway point is still renovating...but half of it is done i think...ate ajisen for dinner...haha and going for ramen play lunch ~~tomorrow~~ today at nex...

I started washing the new clothes that i intend to bring with me to korea ~~today~~ yesterday...and i really put alot of effort into washing the new clothes ...and i also wanted to pack my luggage but don't know why my luggage still looks very empty now...i have to speed up in packing my luggage...there's no time to waste!

Woman in China roasts puppy alive

A woman in China has been captured on photograph roasting a live puppy over an open fire, using what appears to be a portable stove.

The gruesome incident is reported to have taken place at Kengkou market in Guangzhou, according to an article carried on Chinese website chinaSmack.
The woman is seen grilling the live puppy with a pair of tongs, in front of a small crowd, including children. After a while, the dog's body appeared stiff and its skin slightly charred.

Respondents on the website were horrified by her actions.

One user known as VIP posted a comment, "Are you still human? Think for a moment, how would you feel if you were roasted alive/barbecued alive?"

Another who wanted to be known as Love, said, "What's wrong with people these days? They don't even seem like people/human anymore."

This abuse comes hot on the heels of another animal abuse case in Indonesia where live cattle exports were subjected to mistreatment.

On 31 May, it was reported the Australian government suspended live cattle exports to Indonesian abattoirs after a television program showed videos of cattles being unnecessarily whipped and left to bleed to death after their throats were cut using blunt knives.

The videos were recorded by Lyn White, a former police officer and campaign director of the animal welfare group Animals Australia. It is understood that the said abattoirs are located in Jakarta, Bogor, Bandar Lampung and Medan.

It's understood Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has ordered an investigation of slaughterhouses in the country, saying, "We have to highly respect animal welfare."

Are Singaporeans the most ‘disgusting’ people?

Are Singaporeans the most "disgusting and "irritating" bunch of people around?

Well, users of one blog in Chinese seem to think so.

The blog 'Lion City Life', which is supposedly frequented by foreign nationals from China based in Singapore, had conducted a poll seeking feedback from respondents on the most "disgusting and "irritating" people.

Believed to be a poll starter, a person with the moniker of "sayangweiwei" had asked in Chinese, "Having been in Singapore, all must have met people from other countries. Which country's people are the most disgusting and irritating?"

Eight choices were provided, namely: Singaporean, Filipino, Malays, Malaysian, Japanese, Chinese (China), Korean and Indian.

According to socio-political website Temasek Review, the results as reflected on Thursday showed that Singaporeans were voted as the most "disgusting and irritating" people with 48.15 percent of the votes, followed by Filipinos and Malays who garnered 7.41 percent and 5.94 percent of the votes, respectively.

When Yahoo! Singapore tried to visit the site on Friday, the blog had been taken down.

This "poll" comes as a German TV variety show Galileo attracted attention here for tongue-in-cheek references to Singaporeans' way of life.

In an episode aired in early May this year, the show's host had said, "Singaporeans are not just crazy, they are tremendously crazy."

Had the chance to meet samantha on saturday...it has been a few weeks...or i think months since the last time i saw her...i think it was before my finals...went to the Japanese food place near the library...the things there are really cheap as compared to other places...but when samantha ordered the california maki...i find it quite expensive when I found out the price when she paid me...it cost $5.80...maybe i'm too used to seeing cheap prices there...after that we went to tiong bahru for the more than words there...cause samantha wanted to go there and buy farewell gifts for her kids at the student care she's working at...she's changing career path...it's really nice to be her student eh...cause she bought pens and sweets from more than words...and she spent like more than $100 there...so she got 2 more than words membership card and 2 free cups...so she gave me one of each...so nice right...then she even went on to buy dvds for them from TS...and erasers from popular...if you're her student you're very lucky...and i finally got to drink gong cha from bedok point after so many weeks...cause usually if i have bubbletea craving i'll just settle for each-a-cup cause it's nearer...

Today (13/6) went back to school for summer programme debriefing...before that met muihong for lunch at vivo...ate jia xiang mian...i think it's really rare to see jia xiang mian so crowded like it was just now...went to collect the psychology module-mapping form too...while looking for my form happen to see someone who's taking cross-cultural psychology also from NUS...but i don't know who's that person...but there's really alot of people going to summer programme just by looking at the number of module mapping forms just for psychology alone...nothing much from the debriefing...mostly what we know already...but we happened to make one new friend there who's going to KU too...but actually quite pathetic eh...cause we're suppose to make friends with everybody i think...during the debriefing you can see some people forming big groups already...especially my friend from SNU...she already got everyone's handphone and email address already...damn zai...

There's seriously so many things to do and yet so little time!!!

Last time when we were at vivo...somebody came and ask muihong "ni yao jie huen le ma"...and we just walked away...into the f21 store...but now if somebody ask me if wo yao jie huen ma...i will say "wo yao ke shi mei you ren yao gen wo jie huen :( "

Seriously...at my age...everybody -okay not everybody- most people are already attached and some can be happily talking about marriage after graduation...planning to buy their house...and sometimes when you look around...some people early twenties already getting married/married and having kids/have kids...and i'm still in my singlehood...and i think i have a high risk of just remaining single for the rest of my life...then i can join muihong's bai quan club and when she quits and get married i can take over her club...and become president of the bai quan club...such a great achievement huh...

Then i have to worry about not being able to find a good job next time...you just go around the street and grab anyone on the road...highly likely the person has a degree...be it a local or private or overseas uni...so having a degree does not guarantee a job...and being in the faculty that is know as 'the dumping ground' and proven to have the lowest average starting pay...doesn't help...and i look at my brother's pay it makes me even more depressed...seriously his pay is damn high...and talking about this...he should be smack...his pay is so high yet he doesn't bring home a single cent...that apart...seriously if you have a chance to sign bond with government...just sign...your school fees are paid...you get allowance...and the pay is damn high...though i don't know is it for all government jobs...maybe i should have studied engineering rather than psychology...then i have a higher chance of getting a higher paid job...

I really don't want to enter year 3...it's so scary...time passes so quickly...can't imagine i've already been in uni for 2 years...

Anyway. i shouldn't be worrying about all these...cause first things first...i should be worrying about my korean trip...and the weather is freaking hot in korea now...today it's 29-30 degrees...i hope the weather can become more cooling...plus the weather is so weird now...so nothing is impossible...

KBS is showing boys over flowers again...was randomly switching channels 11 plus and when i saw...omg so handsome and i cannot resist...i think they pack alot of episodes in one day and finish the whole drama in 3 days until tomorrow...

A former Indonesian maid is jailed 10 weeks and fined S$2,000 for abandoning her newborn baby in a rooftop garden in Eunos, and overstaying here for 273 days.

Investigations revealed that Indriani, 27, abandoned her baby on 18 April in a multi-storey carpark in Eunos Crescent.

The infant's mouth was stuffed with mud and dried leaves, and he still had his umbilical cord attached. The baby was found alive that same day by a retiree.

The court heard that Indriani arrived in Singapore last March to work as a domestic worker. In July, she ran away from her employer's residence and prostituted herself to earn money. However, in October, she discovered her pregnancy and didn't know who the father was.

She gave birth to a baby boy on 18 April at about 2am and dug a 10cm hole to bury the newborn. Indriani was arrested near Eunos MRT Station on 24 April.

According to a psychiatric evaluation by the Institute of Mental Health, she was suffering from a major depressive disorder when she abandoned the baby.

The baby is currently placed under foster care.

Today my post is filled to gross photos...

Yesterday went to buy this from guardian...not cheap eh..5 pieces cost $6.25

Put it on a night right before i went to bed...suppose to put it earlier...but i kept procrastinating...

When I went to bed...i expect to wake up and see it better or least didn't become worse...
I got the shock of my life when I woke up...
Can you imagine waking up to...

Wtf...My wound is totally watery...
I was very afraid to remove...cause i fear pain...but no choice...cause if it dries i think it will be even worse...
The scene of removing the dressing is damn funny...when i just opened it abit...the water all started flowing out...onto my leg and the sofa and the floor...
Oh...and it wasn't painful removing the dressing at all...0% of pain...

So my wound is officially infected now...OUCH...

What's troubling me now is...is it the transparent film (i like to call it that) that caused it become like that...or is it the wound was already on it's way of getting infection and i just happen to put the transparent film over it...or bacteria was in the wound and when i put the transparent film over it...it trapped the bacteria resulting in an infection...so now i'm just air drying the wound without putting anything over it...

My grandma asked me just now "why you so old already still can walk until you fall down?"...i wonder why too...

Okay...i can answer my own question...

Basically blood acts like a glue...that stick the cotton/gauze to your wound...so when glue dries...what you want to stick stick together...so when blood dries...the cotton/gauze stick to your wound...but there are alot of low adherent cotton/gauze pad that won't stick to the wound now...

Plaster is not suppose to stick to your wound...cause the middle portion is suppose to be a non-stick pad...so i think as long as the middle portion of the plaster is bigger than your wound...it's okay to use the plaster...

But to be honest, i really don't think i didn't walk properly...i wasn't running...i wasn't skipping...i wasn't trying to be funny...i was just walking as per normal and suddenly i find myself on the floor...and the thing is...usually my house downstairs the floor is smooth one...just the walkway that link one block to the other because there's a badminton court there...is rough one...and i just had to fall down there... This falling down incident got me thinking...what kind of injury can we can actually put plaster or gauze or whatever nonsense...because if i put plaster on my injury...i think when i'm removing it...i'll literally die due to pain because my skin would be stuck to the plaster...so what kind of injuries will get stuck to cotton or plaster or whatever...cause blister seems okay with plaster...unless you buy the extra expensive plaster...which cost $7 for 5 or this transparent plastic thing which is 5 for $5 then maybe it won't stick...actually i think the transparent plastic one is quite cool...cause it doesn't have cotton...it's just one thin piece of plastic that claims to help heal the wound and waterproof too...so if no cotton then it shouldn't stick to the wound right...maybe i should go and buy that tomorrow...just now i wanted to buy at watson...but i was thinking too expensive...then when i went to guardian at buangkok mrt there because i wanted to buy again and see how much they sell since i'm waiting for my papa to go eat dinner also...it's sold out...does that mean alot of people are falling down...just like me...

I just s/u my drugs and society...which i got a B for...and seriously i don't know how i got a B...i rather my result for drugs and society switch with my ec2104 result...rahh...and the thing is...s/u-ing it doesn't make a difference to my cap...

I seriously feel like punching myself in the face 5 times...or 50 times...or 500 times...cause two sems ago...i got a B- for my stats module...and i asked people if i should s/u it...and everyone told me i shouldn't...cause it only increase my cap by 0.03 at that time...yeah so i didn't s/u you...and now i am s/u-ing a B module and it doesn't increase my cap (unless if you insist that 0.001 counts)...damn why was I so dumb at that time...seriously...don't think 0.03 is nothing...it's still something...especially if you're taking minor...cause you will be using UE to fulfill minor...so you won't be using much of the s/u anyway...and plus...i don't understand why the hell fass students cannot s/u fass modules outside their major leh...damn sad...if not I might just s/u ec2104 and give up taking econs minor...and if that's the case...why that time the singapore studies module can s/u...it's so complicated...

More about results next time...and I shall do module review too...cause i want to remember all my teachers name...i realised i cannot remember alot of my year 1 lecturers' names already...my result this time is really tian fan di fu...

I'm going to spank people if KU doesn't reply me about the korean thing...

I was so angry yesterday...because there were too many things to do and things weren't going my way...i'm like some stubborn kid...

So what went wrong yesterday
1) the 25th June midnight flight got sold out...it was still there yesterday the yesterday...rahh...and i'm so sad cause i have one less day to play...so ended up buying the 26th June midnight flight...

2) Econs didn't want to map my module for me...they didn't want to map macroecons for me cause they say it's core module last wednesday...so i switched to introduction to game theory...and the person took one week to reply saying i don't have the prerequisites for game theory in NUS (EC3312)...

3) KU and the korean language teacher refuse to reply my email...and they still haven't reply my emails yet...

4) My wisdom tooth on the upper right was teething...and still is teething...so it was painful...but less painful now i think...and at first i don't know if it's hurting because it's wisdom tooth or because it's teething...but now i think it's teething...so it hurt the gum at the bottom...as a result i try to align my teeth so that the it won't hurt the gum...

5) With me trying to realign my teeth...end up my right front teeth was landing differently and pressing on inner lips which resulted in...ULCER...cause I also hold??? my teeth very tight while trying to realign my teeth...so end up the teeth also become very stiff and sometimes painful and feel like they're going to drop off...

6) This will be a secret...i don't want to say what it is and neither do i want to believe it...

Congratulations!!! We're still alive...

Eunice flew to US this morning already...i'm super envious of her...how often do you get to go to a country that is so far away from singapore...but she must be super brave to fly there herself...cause i don't think i can do that...but at least i think when she reached she has her friend with her in US...

I can never go on a holiday by myself...i'm already very resistant towards going out alone by myself in Singapore...but now i'm better...at least now i can go shop by myself...last time i will never even think about doing that...i think if i go to a foreign land myself...99.9% i won't be able to get back to my hotel...cause i have a very bad sense of direction...and being alone in a foreign country will result in a sense of wu zu...there's no one to turn to when something happens...and this get worse if you go to somewhere where you don't speak there language...cause even if you want to ask for help...nobody can understand you...but then again...if the holiday is not for shopping or playing and having fun but rather to achieve a sense of relaxation...like going to some remote part of the world...and have spa everyday...i think it's good to go alone...at least if you go alone...you get to fully cut off from the world...aha...there's where relaxation really comes in...

Today i saw something scary...

Was at the traffic light waiting to cross the road...and it was a one lane, one way street...then this bus from the second lane looks like it was going to turn left...so it caught my attention cause i was thinking...huh the bus can turn left here ah...then beside the bus was this taxi...then suddenly the bus stopped...i thought it was waiting to turn or something...waiting for people to cross the road...then suddenly...i see the taxi opening the door and shouting...and the bus opened the door and the driver came out too...the taxi driver was walking towards him...and he punched the bus driver...then he went back to the taxi and took out a water bottle and threw it at him...and they really end up fighting...at first he almost pulled out the bus driver shirt (i wonder how...since it's the button kind...and he still managed to wear him uniform after the fight...so it means the buttons didn't burst)...and soon...both of them were rolling on road...with the bus driver on top of the taxi driver...and the bus driver was naked on top...A woman stopped their fighting...i'm not sure if she's the passenger in the taxi...but she's really very cool...cause can hear that she's very stern in her voice "bu yao zai da le...ni hui qu jia ni de che (to the bus driver)...bu yao zai ma le (to the taxi driver...cause while the driver going back to the bus...he was still scolding...so will end up want to fight again)...and there were also people pulling them apart from each other...so the driver went back to his bus...then this angmoh who was at my side of the road...risk his life...to pick up the sandals for the taxi driver...so i can't understand why this stupid car went to horn him when he was walking back...so after that...after that when the bus was driving off already...the taxi driver said something "what are you doing ?!?! i'm being bullied by a china man"...but i learn psychology...i know human memory are not always accurate...so this is just agar agar story...

So anyway...what spark off this drama...if i'm not wrong...they almost crash i think? cause i heard them said something like "zhuang guo lai"...so i guess the bus went to block the way of the taxi??? so as to provoke the taxi driver? However, with regards to the sentence the taxi driver said...so if the bus driver wasn't a china man...will they end up not fighting? Or if that's the case...in the first place...the taxi driver wouldn't be provoked...sorry i'm very country-ist...

See driving is very scary...cause it makes people frustrated and when people become frustrated...they become aggressive...

I think i got so pissed off yesterday that my asthma came back to haunt me...or maybe i'm allergic to christine cause i was talking to her on the phone before i went to bed...stupid asthma...if not i won't be waking up until 1am...ended up i woke up at 7plus...tried to sleep abit more became totally unable to sleep at 9 plus...

Anyway...my phone contract is ending...has ended???i could have changed my phone in april...i'm quite lag when it comes to changing phone...and i'm in a dilemma over what phone to take...i think if i ask 10 people...10 people will ask me to get an iphone...but everyone on the street...left right front back...all holding onto iphone...and i don't want to be that everyone on the street...plus i already have my ipod touch...so i don't see the need of having iphone...and and i'm spending tons of money to go to korea (and somehow the tons seem to be increasing whenever i try to calculate it)...and it seems very bad if i still spend hundreds to buy an iphone...oh and plus...i'm still quite interested in having a flip phone...although flip phone is a thing of the stone age...but i live in the stone age...haix but there's another part of me that wants to be like everyone on the street...and i believe iphone will be a very good phone...cause ipod touch is a very good ipod touch? ...and with there's so many things you can do with iphone...rahh...and i think i should get the phone before i go korea so i can get the autoroam...cause my phone has no autoroam...later...i end up going to korean and coming back and yet i still haven't change my phone =_="

My living room is flooded...

Just now in my drowsy state there was a thunderstorm...i didn't think of waking up to go out and close the windows since i thought it was still early and my father will close it...or my brother??? so i ended up going back to sleep...and when i woke up at 1 plus just now...i walked out of my room...and i saw...omg...the floor is all wet...and the robot vacumn came on...so dust plus water...very gross...

Haha but i woke up at 1.10++ now it's 1.56...but i haven't clean up the mess yet...cause i'm expecting water to evaporate...

I just finished watching secret garden...i started watching it cause last thursday after looking at christine's face and i decided to watch secret garden so i went home that night and started watching...the storyline is different from the typical korean storyline...but i still skipped alot of drama...only focusing on the male lead and the female lead...especially the mother's part must skip...so evil...but i don't think it's really particularly interesting...if not i won't be skipping alot of the drama...i think it's hard to find one drama that is really nice from front all the way to the back...cause in typical korean shows...there'll always be third party...and i'll want to skip away those parts...haix but whenever i watch korean dramas i always have the urge to find love...but love seems so hard to find...

Hmm...what show should i watch next...Karen suggested Jap Dramas...but there's no romance there...they say "you read what you lack" so i guess i watch what i lack...

GSS is coming...and there was metro sale at Expo from 29/4-2/5...and after metro sale...there's going to be Robinson sale (12/5-22/5) and after robinson sale...there's going to be John little sale...26/5-5/6...ehh i didn't know the metro sale ended so long ago until i just checked expo website...last thursday i still told christine got metro sale at expo...i love this kind of sales...cause they have everything inside...from shoes to clothes to facial care/makeup...but they just had john little sale not long ago...around march? I so tempted to drop by robinson sales...if not john little sales also can...but i think john little sales is better...the previous time i went there were espirit and charles and keith...but who knows what surprised will there be at robinson sale...but i look at the brochure...nothing exciting...

The weather now is damn warm...if you are in an air-con room and you step out...it's like you just step into a volcano...the floor will be very warm...the glaring sun...and my father is so worried i'll melt into a puddle of oil that he insist on me on-ing the air-con despite me trying to save the earth and saying that i don't want to on the air-con...

From now onwards...i will keep more of a lookout of what's going on in politics...what's going on in the parliament...what's going on in Singapore...what have the different parties been doing for us, Singaporeans...and i will be more critical of the things i read about...whether in the newspaper or on the internet...taking into account the comments and views of people (to hopefully help aid me in being critical and giving me a different point of view)...and I will not take what i read or see or hear at face value...and hopefully i'll be able to make a wise decision in the next election :)

Today i saw the motherly side of muihong...from the way she interacts with my cousin...i can see that she is prepared to become a mother...Jiayou!!! She has very good social skills...i think my cousins will think "oh fuck...why can't i have her for my cousin"

Just now while i was out for dinner with my daddy...saw the PAP van...but i don't really see the point of it...the driver inside was quite poor thing...cause he had to smile and wave to the people while not really anybody bothered to wave back...
